An eye for design is the key to a great junk bracelet! To begin, dump beads on a beading cloth or container so that they are in a single layer and easy to view. Pick several beads and place on a head pin, using varying sized beads and styles to make a .5 - 1" beaded head pin. Continue stringing beads, spacers, crystals on head pins until you have 20-30 beaded head pins of varying lengths, styles and mixes. Using your round nosed pliers, finish each head pin with a round loop or wrapped loop.

Arrange the dangles on your bead mat in the order that you want to attach them to your bracelet. Vary the lengths of the dangles that are next to each other. When you are satisfied with the arrangement, begin attaching the dangles to the chain bracelet using the jump rings. Be sure you are attaching dangles to the same "side" of the chain or they will not hang correctly and risk breaking during wear. Average chain bracelets have 31 links, so space your dangles accordingly. Leave the final link open for clasping, or attach a jump ring to it if the bracelet needs additional links for sizing.
