Snowman Earrings
So fun and easy to make…I make these up by the dozen and give them away as gifts at the holidays. If you would like, add a 5mm Bali daisy spacer and a 4mm bead at the top for a hat!
Level: Beginner
Materials
Two 6mm round beads (I used the Stardust beads available from Fire Mountain Gems or ArtBeads)
Two 4-5mm beads (I used 4mm slightly oval Czech crystal beads with an AB finish)
Two 3mm round beads (mine are Stardust again)
Two 2cm lengths of 24g round sterling silver wire
Two 2.5 inch headpins
Two clear seed beads
Two earring findings
Make a very tiny loop in the center of each piece of 2 cm sterling wire (note: this is CENTIMETER, not millimeter!). Bring the ends back so they are opposite each other.
String a seed bead, a 6mm bead, a 4-5mm bead on one headpin. Add the wire, stringing the headpin through the tiny
loop in the center of it. Add the 3mm bead.
Make a small wrapped loop at the top of the last bead, and trim the excess wire. Use a crimper to tighten the loose end of the wire if needed. Leave the “arms” of the snowman straight if you’d like, or create small loops at the ends and carefully shape the wire (they will look like the stick arms of your snowman). Attach the snowman to one earring finding.
Repeat for second earring.
